BBIS has an opening for a Primary School German Teacher (f/m/d)
Part-Time: 15/30 teaching hours per week (20 working hours)
Start date: 1st August 2025
Limited initially until 31st July 2027
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Primary Teaching certification with an experience in IB PYP, energetic and internationally-minded
- Primary German Teaching certification with experience in IB PYP, energetic and internationally-minded
- Team player, resilient, positive & has a growth mindset. Willing to learn and take risks
- Ability to motivate and inspire students and colleagues alike
- High level of initiative, willing to work in an ambitious and dynamic school. Effective practice to utilize technology within teaching and learning
- Commitment to academic excellence, matched by a belief in educating the whole person
Important: Before beginning the employment at BBIS, the following documents must be submitted:
- Proof of immunity against measles, which must have been confirmed by a doctor if you were born after 1970. Alternatively, a medical certificate of medical contraindication can be provided.
- The original certificate of the highest obtained (university) degree.
- An extended certificate of conduct that must not be older than six months.
These documents are required to comply with legal and internal employment regulations.

BBIS Berlin Brandenburg International School is an independently run, state-approved, inclusive, English-medium day and boarding school serving the internationally-minded community of Germany’s capital region and beyond. As one of Europe’s leading International Baccalaureate (IB) schools, BBIS proudly offers three IB programmes in the Primary, Middle and Diploma years of schooling.
