BBIS has an opening for a whole school psychologist (f/m/d)

Part-Time: 16 Hours per Week

Start date: 1st. August 2024

Limited initially until 31.07.2026

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES

A school-wide educational psychologist role, including the administration of psychoeducational assessments, consultations, interventions (individual and group), and in-service education, research and data evaluation
Delivers comprehensive on site psycho-educational assessments (WISC-V, WIAT-III, ASEBA (CBLC & TRF), Conner's) and devises appropriate treatment interventions
Offers in depth and ongoing individual psychotherapeutic services for primary and secondary school aged students (focusing on evidence-based practices such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, ACT or CBT)
Collaborates and works closely with teachers, SSS school staff, leadership, parents, and external service providers
Delivers student, parent and staff workshops for mental health promotion, as part of our Positive Education - Social and Emotional Learning Programme
Promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment for students
Implements and maintains evaluation and record-keeping systems

YOUR QUALIFICATION

Minimum of a Masters level degree in educational or school psychology, with a specialization in mental health counseling or child and adolescent development
Minimum two years of experience working with children (3-18) in an educational setting
Experience in multicultural, multilingual environments
English language abilities and working knowledge of German preferable
Extraordinary cross-cultural interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams
